Ridgeway Walk (day 2)
7th July 2007

This is the second leg of Peter & Louise's sponsored 44 mile walk in aid of COELIAC UK, 8 weeks of rain and other distractions after the first leg. see our fund raising page - www.justgiving.com/jemmett

We set out from were we left off the first leg at the A40 crossing continuing to follow the Ridgeway northwards. This was always going to prove more difficult due to our early finish on the first leg with some 25.5 miles to complete over a more hilly course. We manged to reach Wigginton, south-east of Tring before my legs and time ran out, about 20.5 miles on the day.

In all, from the original 44 mile challenge we completed 38.5 miles which has seen us walk from Streatley in Oxfordshire right across Bucks to just south of Tring in Hertfordshire.

In total we raised £744.10, many thanks to every-one who has sponsored us.
